How does unlimited work?

How the Unlimited Generation feature works

Unlimited Generations lets you keep creating without watching a credit counter. If you’re on Premium+ or Pro, Unlimited Generation applies to the below specified tools and mode.

    Tools with Unlimited Generations usage

These features do not consume any credits when used:

    • AI Image Generator: includes all models except Google Nano Banana Pro 4K, Custom Character, Style, and Product LoRAs training (Google Nano Banana Pro 1K and 2K are unlimited until December the 22nd and Flux 2 Max unlimited until January the 15th)
    • AI Video Generator: includes Wan 2.2 480p, MiniMax Hailuo 2.3 Fast at 768p, and Kling 2.5 720p (Kling 2.5 720p is unlimited until December the 17th)
    • AI Assistant
    • Sketch to Image
    • Image Editing tools: includes all tools except Upscaler.

    Speed and queueing

With Unlimited Generations, you can generate images at full speed for up to 1000 generations within any rolling 30-day window on Premium+, or 5,000 on Pro.

Once you reach that threshold, you’ll still be able to keep generating — there’s no limit on quantity — but your requests will move to a relaxed queue, which processes which processes at a slower pace. This helps ensure compliance with our Acceptable Use Policy (https://www.freepik.com/legal/acceptable-use-policy) and keeps the platform fair and stable for everyone.

The fast-generation count resets every 30 days, according to the start date of your subscription billing cycle. You can check how many images you’ve generated at full speed during your current cycle by hovering over the infinity symbol in the toggle.

You can switch the toggle off at any time to go back to using credits, which restores full-speed generation immediately. This ensures fair usage for everyone while maintaining system stability.

    In summary:

    • Unlimited ON: no credits used, but speed limits may apply after a threshold.
    • Unlimited OFF:credits are used, and they generate at full speed.

What changes after reaching the threshold?

    • You still have unlimited total generations, but your requests move to a relaxed queue (slower processing).
    • Concurrency may be reduced compared with full-speed mode.

    Fair use

Unlimited Generations are intended for individual, human use only. Automation or scraping tools, account or credential sharing, and reselling access aren’t allowed.

If unusual activity is detected, your Unlimited Generations access may be paused temporarily while one of our Support Team Members reviews your account.

    Throughput and system health

To maintain performance, we may occasionally limit concurrency or reduce speed after periods of sustained high activity. If that happens, Premium+ user requests may enter a queue and Pro users receive priority processing. As we scale capacity, specific thresholds and limits may evolve.

When your access is paused or disabled

To safeguard accounts and keep access fair, we may pause or disable the Unlimited Generations feature if we detect:

    • account sharing
    • automated tool usage

If this happens, you’ll see a message explaining the reason. You can still download your content or continue generating using credits during this period.

To appeal a pause or strike

Email support@freepik.com with the subject line Request to appeal Unlimited access strike.

We’ll review your case promptly and restore your Unlimited Generations if no violation is found. Repeated suspicious activity may lead to permanent suspension of your account.
