Collaboration

Spaces is a shared environment where teams can collaborate in real time, give feedback, and organize creative work together.

This page explains how to share a Space, manage access, leave comments, and work alongside teammates using Spaces’ built-in collaboration features.

    Why collaborate in Spaces

Collaborating in a shared Space keeps your work connected, your team aligned, and your feedback visible. Here are some of the key benefits:

    • Stay aligned on structure, status, and output.
    • Leave feedback where it’s needed.
    • Avoid miscommunication or file duplication.
    • Keep comments, inputs, and results in one view.
    • Work together live or asynchronously.

You can use Spaces to brainstorm ideas, review progress, or deliver final visuals, all while keeping collaboration clear and connected.

    Sharing a Space

You can share any Space with your team using a link or by inviting collaborators directly (coming soon). To do so:

    1. Open the Space you want to share.
    2. Click the Share button in the top-right corner.
    3. Choose how you want to share: Copy link to share access directly or Invite teammates by email (coming soon).

Next, select the access level you want to grant:

    • Can edit: Users can add, modify, and comment in the Space.
    • View only: Users can view the content, but not edit or comment.
    • Owner: Full control, including access management.

Only people with access will be able to open the Space. You can change or remove permissions at any time.

    Accessing shared Spaces

Once a Space is shared with you, it's easy to find and open it from the interface or a direct link:

    • Click the link someone sends you, or
    • Open Spaces and use the dropdown menu to select Shared.

From there, you can view or edit the Space depending on your access level. Shared Spaces are live, so you’ll always be working with the most up-to-date version.

    Commenting

Comments in Spaces let you give feedback or ask questions directly where the work happens. They're attached to specific nodes or areas of the canvas, so your team can keep discussions clear and in context. To leave a comment, follow these steps:

    1. Click the speech bubble icon in the left sidebar.
    2. Click on the canvas where you want to add the comment.
    3. Type your message and press Enter.

Each comment shows the profile picture of the person who wrote it. When you click a comment, it expands to show the full message and the author’s name. You can also react to comments, which makes it easier to acknowledge feedback or respond without starting a new thread.

When comments are unresolved, a red dot appears near the comment icon. Clicking it opens the comment panel on the right side, where you can:

    • Use the search bar to find specific comments.
    • Filter by All, Open, or Resolved.
    • Reply to comments or mark them as resolved.

This keeps feedback visible and easy to manage across the team.

    Working together in real time

Spaces support real-time collaboration. As people join a Space, their profile pictures appear in the top-right corner next to the Share button. Each user is also assigned a unique cursor color to help identify who is active on the canvas.

In a shared Space, you can:

    • Add, edit, and connect nodes together.
    • See each other’s updates live.
    • Run or rerun workflows with shared visibility.

    Next steps

Now that you know how to collaborate in Spaces, start a new Space and invite your team to work together.
