    Your First AI Video

    The Freepik AI Video Generator lets you create videos from a text prompt or an image. The tool handles scenes, transitions, and animation automatically.

    There are a few ways to start:

    • Select the AI Video Generator from the [AI Suite homepage](https://www.freepik.com/ai).
    • Directly from a generated image by selecting Create video.
    • Or choose the Reuse image as a video.

    Generate Videos Using Text Prompts

    An easy way to make AI videos is by writing a short prompt. The AI Video Generator turns it into an animated video, scene by scene.

    Go to the AI Video Generator.

    In the text field, type a prompt describing what you want to see.

    Choose the video length, effects, and aspect ratio.

    Select the mode that best fits your needs.

    Click Generate video to start.

    You can even get some extra help using the Enhance prompt with AI.

    Once the video is ready, you'll be able to preview it, download it, or make quick adjustments.

    Generate Videos Using Images

    If you already have a design or style in mind, use images to create AI videos with consistent results. Here's how:

    Open the AI Video Generator.

    Switch to the Image tab, located next to the prompt input.

    Upload your image or choose one from your recent creations.

    Depending on the selected mode, you can set a start image, end image, or add references to guide the style and structure.

    Click Generate video to begin.

    Use this method to create AI videos from your images. It gives you more control over the visual style and is useful for product shots, UI mockups, or designs that need consistency.

    Once done, you can preview, download, or edit the video further.

    Each generation uses credits, and the amount may vary depending on the video AI models. You can generate and download as many videos as you like. Video downloads do not count toward your daily Freepik asset download limit.

    All generated content is subject to Freepik's Terms and Conditions for AI Products. You're welcome to use AI-generated videos for personal or professional use, as long as they don't infringe on third-party IP rights.
