A universe of maximum purple: a look at the history of this vibrant shade

Maximum purple is a hue that holds a deep and vibrant energy, often associated with ambition, power and prestige. It is not only visually striking but continues to be deeply meaningful in many cultures throughout history. In ancient times, maximum purple was a rare and valuable color to come by. As purple dye was created from the shells of murex snails, it was an expensive commodity only available to few people in society. This exclusivity led maximum purple to become closely associated with royalty, signifying power and luxury. Maximum purple is also a fitting color to commemorate World Cancer Day. It symbolizes moments of hope, courage and progress in the fight against this illness, inspiring us to continue moving forward towards a brighter future for all.

The theme for World Cancer Day 2022 is an acknowledgement that no one should be left behind when it comes to cancer care. No matter who you are, where you come from, or how much money you make–everyone deserves access to the best possible treatment and support. This strong message of hope is a reminder that there is still work to do in order to bridge the gap between those who have access to cancer care and those who don’t. We must strengthen existing alliances, create new ones and “Close the Care Gap” in order to ensure everyone has equitable access to healthcare services by 2024.
