Bring your clothing designs to life with Mockup generator

If there’s an artist within you, you’ve surely daydreamed about having people carrying your designs in their clothing. With platforms like Everpress or Etsy, thousands of designers worldwide can see their ideas become part of people’s everyday lives through t-shirts, hoodies, or tote bags.

So, what’s stopping you from bringing your ideas to life? Low-quality mockups? Complex design software?

Fortunately, the Freepik Mockup generator is here to help you tap into your designs’ full potential. Let’s see how!

Open the mockup generator, find the perfect mockup

Once you’ve opened the mockup generator, we will take our design through Freepik’s mockup library. This catalog holds a large gallery of high-quality, ready-to-edit mockups for your projects, fully available for Premium Freepik users. However, if you’re not premium, don’t worry—you can still use plenty of mockups.

First, we’ll find a killer mockup that does our design justice, so let’s look at the t-shirts section.

Open the Mockup menu at the left and type “t-shirt” in the search bar. You can also click on the categories menu and select Apparel. For now, we’re sticking with this model.

Edit your mockup on the go

Looks promising, doesn’t it? Now, the next thing we have to do is place our design. For this example, we use two designs: one for the sleeve and one for the front. Let’s start with the latter.

Click on the back area to open up the upload menu. Click on Add image and select your design.

Now, you’ll get a detailed view of the design, where you can resize or rotate it while getting a real-time preview of what it looks like on the mockup. You can also add other elements like icons, stickers, shapes, or masks. You can even include other images from your library or ours! The possibilities are endless.

Okay, let’s focus—where were we?

Ah, yes—we’ve resized and placed our design on the front of the shirt, changed its color to match our design, and now it looks good. Notice how the shadows and wrinkles also interact with the design? Now, that’s how you can tell how great a mockup is.

Edit your mockup on the go

Okay, let’s go for the sleeves now. We will rotate our design to cover the area vertically and apply a black tone. Neat! In a few clicks, we went from“Nice” to “Where can I get one?” Let’s download it and save it for later.
