Unicode unveils the 72 new emojis we were waiting for

We knew that a Unicode update was coming, and this summer’s contains 72 new emojis (including avocado emoji) so that you can further express yourself in new ways using the famous icons. Their release is to be expected later in late June, so prepare for them!
Some of these icons have been on high demand for quite a while, so users will be happy to know that we will be counting on emojis such as the paella emoji, bro fist, pregnant woman, butterfly, and finally: the long-awaited for bacon emoji.

These 72 new icons will join the 1601 emojis that are currently in the set, having a similar style and including different colored options for the human emojis. Sport emojis are also to be released, in time for the Rio Olympics. The new emojis will be available soon, and they will accompany the release of the iOS 10 and Android N updates.
