Meet the young Marauders in these portraits posted on J. K. Rowling’s Pottermore

If you have read the Harry Potter book saga by J. K. Rowling or have just watched the movies, you will be familiar with these names: Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, Sirius Black and James Potter. Or the names they went by: Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs.

These four young students from Hogwarts spent their days having fun and being somewhat mischievous between the castle’s walls, creating even a map to locate people around it. This week has been, apparently, dedicated to celebrating them.

The Pottermore site keeps the fandom thrilled and is kept alive by the fans, in a reciprocal fashion. And they have published a series of beautiful animated illustrations depicting all four of them. Don’t they look awesome?
