May the 4th be with you: Star Wars, The Force Awakens told in emojis

If you had any more doubts about the communicative power of an emoji, you just have to see this and be convinced that this modern form of universal language can be exploited in really creative ways by the brightest minds. In celebration of May the 4th (be with you), we bring you this cool piece of work made with (you guessed right): emojis!

This animation team from Disney has done a great job creating these personalized Star Wars, The Force Awakens emoji set, and they have used them to tell the story of the last film of the saga in a very fun way.

If you haven’t seen the film yet —in which case, you’re probably not from this planet ;-)—, and inted to do it in the future, save this to your bookmarks and run to your nearest video rental (or get it on iTunes) and avoid the SPOILERS ahead.

The small but detailed emojis perfectly depict the old and new characters in the saga, telling the story from beginning to ending in just about 3 minutes. Incredible? The team has paired up great animation with great music, and the result is a stunning reminder of the plot while the fanbase waits for the release of Rogue One.
