IKEA’s vintage catalogs are like looking at the new ones with an Instagram filter

Nordic Style Magazine came across a vintage IKEA catalogs collection on Pinterest by Smörgås Pinners, which is the official Pinterest account of IKEA’s communication writers, and the contents were really interesting.

The thing is, that even if 50 or 60 years have passed since the publishing of these vintage furniture and decoration catalogs and the styles have quite changed, the arrangement of the pieces and the general feel is just the same.

We can say that IKEA has kept the same essence over the years, because some of these photographs look like you ran the current catalogs through an Instagram filter, without changing much about it!
