Google goes bananas for the 2016 Doodle Fruit Olympics

In celebration of the 2016 Rio Olympics, Google has created a summery tribute to the event by creating a whole series of mini games and a accordingly themed Doodle to accompany the event. They are called the 2016 Doodle Fruit Games, and they are here to stay for the next couple weeks.

You can find most of the minigames on the Google app, featuring a different fruit-themed video game every other day. You can be a swimming lemon in a pool filled with ice cubes, or you can escape a watermelon rolling down a hill as different kinds of athletic fruit.

I’m not going to even bother with the puns, since Google have already gone overboard with those on their blog. If you do try the games, lettuce know what is your favorite! (Ha! Did you really think that I wouldn’t even try? It’s awful, I know!).
