First-grade teacher allows her students to paint on her white dress

This first-grade school teacher has done something really meaningful for her students (her “Little Picassos“, as she calls them) and they have done something really meaningful for her in return. She has let them paint a white dress, and the result is awesome.

She claims this to be her “first original idea”, since sometimes it seems that almost everything has been already invented by people. To celebrate the last day of school, she brought to class a white dress that she bought off Amazon, fabric markers and let her kids express themselves artistically.

This will probably become a popular idea amongst teachers, but it’s really cool to let students express themselves and show them that what they do means something to you. Art and creativity should always be encouraged, especially amongst younger children: go Sock Monkey! (Find him in the pictures!).
