For the first time ever, please welcome a featured artist duo; Andrea Tobar and Zebradaa. In honor of the Spring season being one of the favorites for weddings, we asked Andrea and Zebradaa to create a special collection each.

Andrea’s illustrations have a playful, cartoon-like aesthetic that’s cute and friendly. We love how her visual stories are often whimsical and lighthearted but always focused on conveying emotion. You can feel the playfulness and positivity in her style.
A life of art
Since she was a child, illustration and art have been a part of Andrea’s life. When we asked her about her career as an illustrator, she said, “I enjoy a career in the creative field since it allows me to explore new ideas and pushes my boundaries of creativity. My art is also the place where I can truly be myself, and it has become a way of sharing a little piece of my soul with others. I am fortunate to have a career as an illustration artist in a country with little art production. This is how I can help future generations of artists pave their way into the creative field.”

What we love about Zebradaa’s style is how seemingly simple organic shapes come together in compositions of endless possibility and connection.
When we asked about her vibrant 2D style, she shared, “I usually don’t use shadow and lighting techniques because I like to experiment with the infinite possibilities of compositions with shapes, solid colors and lines.”
Graphic design background
Zebradaa studied graphic design in college but always found her way back to art and illustration. While in her home in Southern Brazil, she discovered the world of self-published comics. Through lots of experimentation and composition exercises, she built an illustration style and business that feels like a dream come true.
Spring color palette
In her Freepik collection, Zebradaa explores layers of nature and color with human bodies and faces. The vibrant color palette in oranges, pinks and blues is an orchestra of life, nature and celebration of spring.
“For me, spring shows us the diversity and uniqueness of so many different plants, flowers, fruits and how this is directly connected to human creativity and personality. This is a celebration and I hope you can feel it and have some fun!”
