Facebook releases new reaction emojis in celebration of Star Trek

Remember when the world was shocked after Facebook implemented five different emotion reaction icons in addition to the traditional Like button? Once people have grown accustomed to them, it’s time for customization à la Google’s Doodle.

This time, in celebration for the 50th anniversary of Star Trek, Facebook has activated (although not in every region, which is unfair for fans outside Canada and the US) a pack of five thematic reactions as a tribute to the series.

Are you a part of the lucky ones eligible to show your love for a post using Spock’s salute or a galactic thumbs up? If not, you can still enjoy watching the video that the guys at Facebook have put up.
