Australian fauna is reimagined as a new series of exotic Pokémon

For those who follow the newest Pokémon series and video games, it is a popular saying that Pokémon have been getting more and weirder with every generation, because coming up with over 700 magical monsters is a really hard task.

But that doesn’t mean that there are animals still lacking their own version in the Pokémon universe, especially more exotic animals like the ones that form part of the fauna of that big country on the ocean, called Australia.

Artist and pixel animator, Paul Robertson, has posted online his own take on what would be Australian Pokémon. Some of these include the “Errwinn”, named after Steve Irwin, or “Boomer”, which evolves into “Ranga”, both modeled after a boomerang.
