Adobe Photoshop unveals smart-cropping feature

Adobe understands the needs of their users, and this proves it once more. People had been requesting that Adobe implemented smart crop tools by using Content-Aware technology, and they have announced a new Content-Aware Crop tool that they will be introducing very soon.

This smart tool takes the pixels around your image’s edges into consideration, filling the space automatically with content instead of staying blank, like it happened before. Although the tool is still under construction, Adobe has unveiled certain details about it that makes us want to try it as soon as it’s available in Adobe Photoshop CC.

For example, when you crop a landscape picture, it will add either sky or ground whenever needed to fill in the spaces. You can also alter your picture’s ratio, since the content will be automatically generated so that the picture will be auto-filled with the pixels needed.

You won’t have to lose content by cropping your picture when editing your camera shots! The tool will probably have many useful applications for artists and designers.
