6 creative packaging about Italian pasta

Lovers of Italian pasta and creative design are lucky! As a secret, it is not the same to get to the supermarket and see the typical package of pasta that discover the most original and fun packaging. True? Do not be afraid to admit it, we enjoy good design, sometimes, are a little freak on these issues.

Now let’s review some creative examples of packaging for pasta, some are commercial projects and other personal, although all irresistibly wonderful. Attention post not recommended if you still have a few hours to have lunch. Enjoy it!

Ingenious chefs

The brand Pietro Gala commissioned the design of packaging to Russian agency Fresh Chicken . The result? A new format, featuring a traditional Italian chef whose transparent smock exposes the various types of pasta: conchiglie, radiatori or spaghetti. The combination between format printing cardboard and a black ink reflects the traditional and fresh pasta character.

Hair in the wind

The Russian designer Nikita bet for fun packaging that mimic the female hair. Straight, wavy or curly, each style with a certain variety of pasta. The message? It could be “changes pasta like hair style.” The packaging shows the face of elegant, sophisticated and alternative girls on white background and black typography. A minimalist design and very careful. Which do you choose?

A magic family

The designer  Agata Kowalska proposes a creative project of the most lovely. Their characters? A lion tamer, a little mermaid, a girl and a moon. In this case we find a more traditional format, with a recycled paper wrapper where the typical Italian pasta is presented as a small tale designed for children and adults.The most beautiful? Undoubtedly, the illustrations of his characters and recreating the dynamics between different varieties of pasta and personalities of each.A wrapper for daydreaming!

Colorful pasta

The creative Alessia Olivari offers a personal project “Pasta for one” designed for those days when we feel like being alone and enjoy a good plate of pasta. The designer has created different patterns for each variety of pasta. A fun and colorful format that emulates the typical gift wrap.And it is that the pasta is not one of the best gifts for the taste?

Traditional pasta

Now, it is the turn of Nonna Carmela, a student project, whose packaging reflects the essential character of the brand that focuses on fresh and traditional nature of the italian pasta,  in brief for healthy eating. In this case, we moved to a lost village in Italy thanks to its design, drawn by hand and inspired by typical Italian tile illustrations: mushrooms, tomatoes or onions, among others. The country composition combines perfectly with the choice of recycled cardboard boxes that emulate the rural nature. In addition, pasta boxes has a carrying bag in tune with the design of the same.

Typographic Family

The personal design created by Jessica Cullen redesigns the current packaging firm Ronzoni. It’s a fresh and modern design where the creative weight resides in the shape of huge letters whose transparent inside reveals the contents of the package. A fun bet with a white packaging remember of milk cartons.The typography chosen? Create contrast by combining with other Serif Sans Serif fonts. Anything else? We love the detail of the metal clip!
