Mark Zuckerberg brings 360º photographs to Facebook

The next logical step after 360 degrees video (or perhaps, the previous one) was taking it to photography. Mark Zuckerberg shared on Facebook the first 360º pictures to ever be on the website last weekend.

Particularly he shared an impressive picture of Manhattan taken from the World Trade Center, with a vision field of 360º. This is a revolutionary format that will probably mean the birth of many 360º photography apps and new camera models.

It’s better to use your smartphone to see these and fully experience the 360º by rotating your device, but you can also see it by clicking on the link from your computer browser or your tablet and dragging the picture to rotate it. The view is impressive, so take care if you are afraid of heights!
