After Humans of New York comes: Legs of New York
The Humans of New York facebook account posts interesting photographs of New Yorkers accompanied by an extract of some sort of interview that the photographer, Brandon Stanton, started incorporating along the way of his original project of taking 10,000 photographs of inhabitants of the city.
Stacey Barker, a photographer and editor of the New York Times Magazine, has taken a different approach when it comes to photograph New Yorkers: she takes photos of women’s legs. All kinds of legs, trousers, flowy skirts and colorful fabric are reunited in her Instagram feed.
Her pictures are colorful and, although they only show half a person, they tell a story. She doesn’t include interview excerpts, but it’s not necessary: they seem to speak for themselves!
Check out her amazing work on Instagram.
