Gravity Sketch: using VR headsets to design tridimensional structures

If you have tried any VR headset, maybe you had heard (or even played around with) painting apps. It’s really cool to use these headsets to create art on imaginary walls around you, as if air was another surface to create art on.

The app Gravity Sketch allows you to draw with a virtual reality set in three dimensions, and then it lets you export your creations into a computer software. This means that it can be used in the design industry to make 3D models and later use and edit them with another program.

With promising applications in the field of automobiles and the fashion industry, the app that first came out as iOS-exclusive is being adapted to other operative systems, such as Windows, Mac, Oculus Rift… So that you can also create instant 3D shapes using a mouse or a Wacom tablet. Users can expect a release around December this year.
