French artist brings dull buildings to life with impressive murals

Patrick Commecy is a French street artist that paints beautiful murals on previously ignored and neglected building walls. The result of his work is incredibly good, since it recreates the illusion of not being able to distinguish if certain elements are real or not.

He paints windows and store fronts in these murals, and also includes surreal and fantasy elements. In one of these, he even included a tribute to the vintage film, A Trip to the Moon. That is probably just one amongst more pop culture references hidden in his many murals.
