Digital collage artist replaces young people’s faces with famous paintings
Shusaku Takaoka is a Japanese graphic designer and digital photography collage artist, and his latest series has quickly become known around the world because it is very interesting and funny at the same time!
Do you ever look at famous paintings and wonder what must these people have looked like in real life? For example: the Girl with the Pearl Earring, or the Mona Lisa. We’ll never know the answer, but at least we can imagine how they would look like as persons in the street!
Takaoka has created a series of collages where the faces of the paintings (including Van Gogh’s self-portrait!) are placed on the bodies of famous men and women’s photo-shoots. The outcome of these photo manipulations is really uncanny, but fun!
