Citroën’s new flat logo: inspired by you

In the last few years, many car manufacturing brands have updated their logotypes with flat designs. Flat color logos have many advantages, one of them being the ability to reproduce them on any brand product with ease.

Mini and Audi were two of the latest brands to update their logo with a flat version, and this time it was Citroën’s turn. The new logo and branding campaign is the result of extensive research. Car users spend around 4 years of their lives inside a vehicle, and the campaign’s message is that such time should be as pleasant as possible.

This is why the new motto accompanying the brand new logotype is ‘Inspired by you’. The brand hadn’t changed its logo since 2009, and although the logotype is a flat grey that some will find dull, the new website is a lot more colorful as a part of their new image.
