The Book Depository gets a refreshing logo that surprisingly looks like a book

If you knew Book Depository before, you probably remember its logotype. Three purple ghastly-looking orbs floating around, it didn’t resemble a library logo at all. Perhaps it hinted at the fact that they ship internationally to over 160 countries for free, but nothing else.

They have renewed their branding and logo, getting rid of the word “The” in front of the online book store’s logotype, and they have replaced the floating orbs with a teal colored book. The result is clean and it reflects on the redesign of their website.

Their new font is also more attractive, and the overall look of their website is very refreshing and clean. It was about time that they gave a new look to their identity, and it’s great that they have done such a great job at revamping their site.
