Artist repaints old Pokémon TCG cards and transforms them into works of art

Lunumbra had a lot of old original Pokémon Trading Card Game cards lying around home, and then took them and created art with them. With acrylic paint and a lot of painting skill, the cards are brought back to life.

The cards (real cards!) are hand painted with acrylics and then coated with varnish so they endure the passing of time. The backgrounds are beautifully done, with lots of detail to fill up the space which is usually covered with card info and descriptions.

Many clients have already commissioned Lunumbra for these awesome cards, having them painted as gifts for friends and family. Any Pokémon enthusiast would love to add one of these beautiful pieces to their collection! 🙂
