#WithFreepikCreate Competition: This Graphic Design Day we’re celebrating creativity
Graphic design professionals carry out a job that may be invisible to many, but which is a great challenge – making communication more accessible and understandable, helping all of us on the planet understand each other. That’s why we’re celebrating their day.
Every project we do affects the world around us – whether it’s optimizing the messages that brands want to bring to their customers, or making them more inclusive for people.
This year we’ve decided to do go in a different direction, by awarding $1000 to whoever creates the best project. We want to show that with good images, you can inspire thousands of people.
#WithFreepikCreate Competition
To feed the most creative minds and help them generate projects that leave everyone speechless, you need the kind of visuals that we offer every week at Freepik. That’s why we decided to make this special selection with unique images for the occasion.
All creators have to do is use these images to generate a free design that they share on their Instagram profiles with the hashtag #WithFreepikCreate.
Then, a jury of professionals will select the most important pieces and among them the winner of the contest, whose creator will receive a special prize of $1000.
How to participate
- Follow @Freepik on Instagram.
- Download our images.
- Use these assets (at least 1) to create a vertical piece. The image must be static and no larger than 1080×1350 px (4:5 ratio).
- Share it until April 18 (04/18/2022) as a post on your Instagram feed mentioning @freepik and using the hashtag #WithFreepikCreate.
- Remember that you can participate with as many creations as you want (as long as they comply with the above criteria).
- The jury will deliberate and on 27 April we will announce the winner on our blog and on Instagram.
- The piece will be evaluated by taking into account the following criteria: how it reflects the concept of “World Graphic Design Day”, originality, composition, and use of color.

The jury
Those who will be in charge of selecting the winner of the competition are:
Miriam Jordán
The illustrator Miriam Jordán is the Vectors Art Director at Freepik.
The themes she usually deals with in her work are feminism, self-esteem, body-positive ethics, eroticism, diversity, authenticity, and the connection with emotions. She encompasses all these concepts under the phrase: “My muses eat pizza.”
Silvia Salvador
Graphic designer, art director, and interior designer. Silvia Salvador has always had a strong interest in the world of art and its different branches (such as sculpture or painting). Her constant curiosity has led her to study web design, illustration, and even motion graphics. Which just goes to show that you can always keep growing, learning, and developing.
Claudia Solano
After having participated in different design projects in countries such as Colombia and Argentina, she has started a new stage in Spain, working as an art director at Freepik.
As a creator, she explored different forms of expression that go far beyond the screen, such as photography, analog animation, modern macramé, and even ceramics.
