Sad movie couples, illustrated by Alejandro Giraldo

Many people have a favorite movie couple, and that’s because some film characters are so charismatic or work so well together in a story that they are impossible to forget. Some of these characters belong to dramatic films, and more often than not, things do not end particularly well for them.

Artist Alejandro Giraldo has done a series called “Sad Movie Couples”, in which he has drawn simple but nice illustrations featuring some of the most famous characters in movies with some of the saddest quotes in their stories.

Featuring Han Solo and Leia from Star Wars, Titanic, 500 Days of Summer and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, these will break your heart one picture at a time!
