iOS 10 announced by Apple, including redesigning and emoji swap

Every time that Apple announces the release of a new iOS version, we can’t wait to find what is new within it. Always keeping up to date with design trends ever since iOS and MacOS left skeuomorphism behind, whenever new software comes up they tweak small details that are actually relevant for users, like that time they implemented a new font to replace Helvetica (which wasn’t really that different in the end) but received all kind of response from the public.

This time the graphic design changes aren’t very noticeable, except for the notification center, which has been completely redesigned to better match that of the Apple Watch. 3D touch notifications preview has been integrated, too, along with iMessage’s big upgrade incluying big-sized emojis and link preview.

One new cool feature is the fact that you can highlight words and receive suggestions to replace them with emojis: this might encourage more emoji designs in the future, and it’s actually quite useful for platforms such as Twitter, where sometimes the character count matters and emoji come in real handy.
