The New York Public Library has set up one of the coolest Twitter bots that have ever existed. The NYPL system has a lot of pictures in their digital collection, and they share it with you an emoji at a time.
The way that this works is very simple: you send a tweet to @NYPLemoji and within a second you receive a picture from their library back. You can try as many emojis as you want, and you will be surprised by the accuracy of the system to reply. The bot was developed by digital producer Lauren Lampasone in collaboration with software architect Leonard Richardson.
So, if you are in need of references or inspiration for your next design project, feel free to tweet a few whale emojis or bacon emojis (whenever they are available). Have fun!
