Ben Rubin rides the subway between Brooklyn and Manhattan quite often, and he makes the most of these boring morning subway rides by drawing awesome cartoon monsters onto photos of unknowing passengers.

These monsters are, sometimes, a way of pointing out the typical behavior of humans on the subway. Long faces, eyes peeking at what you are reading or teenagers absorbed by their smartphones.

He draws his blue monsters on his iPad every time he has the chance to capture a potentially funny moment with the camera. He has been doing this and uploading his work to Instagram for already two years, and we hope that he keeps on bringing new stuff!
