New Adobe Playful Palette lets you mix digital color in the traditional way

Digital art offers many possibilities, but some steps of the traditional art way are lost in the process. One of them is the mixing of color, which in traditional art takes place on the palette, with blobs of paint, pigments and medium. But Playful Palette might change something about that!

Teaming up with the University of Toronto, a group from Adobe Research has developed a user interface called Playful Palette, which allows you to mix colors like you would the traditional way: the blobs of digital color mix like on a physical palette thanks to their research and development.

This could mean a big change for these artists that love working on digital as much as on traditional media. Mixing colors like this surely could mean the discovery of new palettes and combinations.
