This graphic designer remakes a popular movie poster every day

New Year resolutions are often the same again and again: sign up for the gym, go to the gym, curse less, and eat more veggies. But for Sydney-based graphic designer Peter (Pete) Majarich his resolution was one and clear: a personal project called “A Movie Poster A Day”.

He has been working on alternative posters for popular films, and posting them online so that you can follow his work on Instagram and his website. Being almost halfway through his goal, he keeps the style minimalist and simple, but manages to represent key element icons from every movie.

So far he has included iconic posters for Black Swan, Forrest Gump, Reservoir Dogs, The Godfather, and Her, amongst others.
