Polymer clay styled just like folded paper to create unique jewelry pieces

A while ago we saw how artist Vesna Rikic created awesome pieces by using the paper quilling technique, which is like painting but with origami, more or less. Surely, there are quite a few tutorials out there on the matter.

Probably while following these instructions, Alisa (Liskaflower) from Russia realized that she could use more materials apart from paper. Then, she began creating pendants, brooches and jewelry using polymer clay.

Her original designs are very special, because she sort of recreates brush strokes by quilling and folding little pieces of polymer clay to “paint” her creations. Surely it’s a very original, unseen technique!
