Momoko Yamada is a 32 years old woman from Japan, who had her first child, called Ryu, in April of last year. Since then, she has been sharing her experiences and hardships in illustration form on the Internet.
The outcome of her struggles is both beautiful and hilarious. With her simple illustrations, he depics how she sees life now, as a new mother. For example, she says, “being a mother requires the stamina of a sumo wrestler”, and pairs this with a cool picture.
With captions such as “nothing beats having your hands scratched by your adorable baby’s nails”, or “I wish I had as many tentacles as a squid to be able to handle everything!”, the pictures quickly became popular since other parents related to them.
