Me Kyeoung Lee is a South Korean artist who can’t help but capture the beautiful environments of the city that surround her on a daily basis with her acrylic ink paintings. With tons of tiny details, her work is something that is born out of a passion for her surroundings.
Traditional neighborhood stores are something that really reflects the personality of each owner. In her paintings, she pays attention to every detail: from the trees that are planted in front of the store to the tiniest bottle of sauce visible through the window.
You won’t be able to stop looking at these pictures, because they look exactly like overexposed pictures. Against the white background, rich color and ultra-fine lines compose these stores, which always remind her of her childhood errands.
